Character Name:Felix
Age:1 1/2 (already mature)
Species:Fennec Fox
Gender:MaleDesired Rank:Felix would like to be an extra in the Erosea pack :3
Character Looks:Felix is a tiny, mainly sandy-coloured fox. A big red patch is on the crown of his head, and it slightly crawls up the outside of his ears, and his tail. He has tear marks, much like a cheetah, that's are also of the same rusty-red that appears on his head and short tail. He's only 7 1/2 inches tall (not counting his ears being 6 in.) and 14 in. long. He's built mostly for speed; strength his not his forte, him being almost scrawny in appearance. Felix's eyes are dark, almost perfectly black. But there isn't really a very decipherable colour inside them otherwise.
Pictures:History:The first thing Felix remembers is a tongue, and he never saw to whom it belonged. It was a light, warm, comforting tongue on his back. And he could only feel. It was a memory based purely on sensation and emotion. The sensation: enjoyable. Tender. The emotion: content. Happy.
But it didn't last long.
Here the memory becomes muddled. Feelings spin like a hurricane.
The feeling of being lost. Fear. Sadness. Anger.
Warmth overlays all these. A sort of fake warmth. It didn't feel like anything he knew. Yet, it felt good.
Time passed. Like it usually did. Time went right passed. And the young Fennec Fox was oblivious to the fact that he would never see another of his kind in all those months.
His eyes opened soon after. Nothing looked like he expected. It was bright. He was wrapped in something soft. But he learned soon after that it wasn't a creature. It had no heart. No living, breathing aspect. It was just there.
Felix was raised by humans. They were nice to him. They rubbed him. Cooed to him. Played with him. He drank from a bottle. Learned to eat solid food. Even practically taught himself to hunt with the help of his favourite human, who was the first he ever remembered seeing. The one who rubbed him the most, and sometimes slept with him in it's arms. But the other humans were always nearby. They always watched. And never once did he see his mother, or anything remotely like himself.
Not even when he was set free.
It was abrupt. One day, after hunting for food, he was lifted from the ground. He flew. He could see the grass below him. He expected to be taken inside, and put in some sort of confining space. However, he wasn't. He was placed on a dusty ground, outside a metal gate, and without a word or a rub, the gate slammed on him, and the humans walked away.
He sat there. He stared. But they didn't come back.
So he left, seemingly abandoned by his kind, and now by those who raised him.
