Moving Along In Time (Border Post-Alpha Titan)

There was a hint of summer in the air, no more was the bitter cold affecting the ground and sky. It was now spring, and all the creatures could bask in it. Banshee was among the many to be able to finally bask in the sun's warm rays without standing in the bitter cold. The white of her fur was splotched by the shadows of various trees. Golden sunlight filtering through the leaves as they opened up to drink up any sun they could possibly receive. Banshee was walking, her long legs having a slightly slower side as she watched nature begin to finally take its natural form. Winter was never her favorite time of year, although it gave her great camouflage it stunted any kind of hunting or fighting throughout those dark months. Even with her thick glorious fur it was still cold, and with another winter around the corner she needed a good pack to be apart of. Of course she could pull her own weight, hunt, fight, what ever but what she craved for was to finally be in the right rank. No longer did she want to be lowly, she wanted to show respect but also get in return. She had never been given any respect by her father, and in turn never really any by the pack. Her goal was to become beta, show herself up to her father. He was dead, yes but that didn't mean she couldn't show her goal. Treading lightly over the small buds of grass, Banshee continued to walk through the forest her thoughts never ceasing. The forest opened up the trees thinning out among her left and right. A large grassy like area fanned out before her, reminding her that she was close to the area she had been searching for.

Lifting her scarred muzzle to the sky she breathed in the delicate male scent she had been following since earlier that morning. It was that of a strong male, one she had a feeling was just at the cusp of making a pack. Making her way down the grassy hill, the stalks of grass rubbing against her soft fur. The grass parted a little to her left, and she moved with it following the ease of the curve. What made her stop was the invisible line that clearly marked a border. The scent of the brute was strong here, and she was sure that the border stretched far and wide in either direction. The breeze whispered through the trees making the grass bend in different directions, touching flank and one even touching her ear. Flicking her large ear, she took a seat her tail sweeping the grass down to make it more comfortable. Her haunches rested easily among the green grass as she stared into the forest that had grown thicker the deeper it expanded. Looking up towards the blue sky above, Banshee took in a lungful of air and raised her muzzle. Her ears pointed forward, as she let the melody escape her chest and up through her muzzle. It was a pure musical sound, it was a call to let the wolf know she was here. She wanted a rank, to start the pack that would hopefully grow bigger. What ever happened, well she was sure to find out. The howl ended on a soft note, as she quieted her tone and looked back into the foliage. Time was every beings enemy and friend, she wondered which it would be for the wolf she waited for. Closing her soft blue eyes she waited, her whole body relaxed.

Paws pounded against the earth, dirt shifting under the massive weight of the brute. His broad frame shook, sunlight shining down upon his body. He was patrolling the border without worry. He felt safe, though he was alone. He sighed, eyes flickering back and forth. He heard the howl, but he decided to take his time instead of charging forward. The day was beautiful and he wanted to see if the one who approached his borders would be patient. He wove through the trees and smiled, eyes dancing with joy as he finally approached the white fae. He sat down in front of her and smiled weakly. "I am Alpha Titan, these lands you approach are known as... Erosea." He came up with a name for lands on the spot, a tiny glint of joy within his eyes as he spoke. "Who are you, and what do you seek?" He let the words fall out, eyes searching the figure before him. He was unsure what the reply would be, but he already had a good feeling about her. He shook his massive shoulders and tilted his head to the side as he waited. He was not in a dominate stance, but he was neutral and waiting for a response from the fae.

The air was still sweet with the smell of spring, but it did not bother her, she was glad for the spring. Winter was always a dark time for the white colored fae, but then again the cold of the winter matched her very cold heart. Her patience had started to grow slightly thin as she sat the border, listening to the birds chirp and the animals rustle. Had she been wrong in the scent? Her nose had never betrayed her before, but it almost seemed as if the land was abandoned after all. It gave her an idea, but alas it was crushed when she heard heavy paws against the soft earth. It was then that she was finally able to see the male she had been following for quite some time. He was a large brute, with pointed ears, a tan and white muzzle and dark pelt. It was quite contrasting against her own white pelt, as the brute slowed his run and came to a full stop. Banshee was quiet, watching him approach her eyes never leaving his movements. She noticed the weak smile, and then he spoke. His voice was deep, but smooth, something she liked. To her, it was all about first impressions, and so far she was slightly impressed. The pack was just starting out, so to say he was a professional at this, was doubtful. She noticed him pause as he tried to think of a name for the lands, but a beautiful name he did come up with. Something of a pride swelled up in her at the thought of being able to be apart of these lands. It was a nice touch to her cold personality, but of course to hope to be beta one had to be good and the other no so good. Giving the male a final glance over, her blue eyes sharp and penetrating she finally spoke. "My name is Banshee. I have come here to seek the opportunity of sanctuary." Her voice was softer than his but held a slightly colder tone than his warm one. There was respect in her posture, for she had lowered her head a bit but she kept her body straight. She didn't think that bowing down and showing her belly was a good first impression unless she wanted to be an omega for the rest of her life. She decided against telling him what rank she wished for until he asked, it was only polite. The spring breeze floated over her, caressing her fur gently bringing the scents of opening flowers. She breathed it all in, some thoughts of childhood in her memory. Some memories had been good, but only a few. Others had been bad and those outweighed the good. Sighing gently, she waited for the Alpha's reply.

Titan shifted, he stared at the fae without blinking for quite a bit. He sighed and shrugged, a smile widening across his face. "Tell me what skills you can offer to Erosea?" He wasn't going to ask which rank she wanted, no, he wanted to test her. He shifted and let his ears roll forward, blue gaze meeting her own ice-like gaze. Something about the fae, she was colder and more harsh then him. She was stern, while he was kind. "Banshee, you seek shelter in a place with only wolf, I trust you not to betray me. I will give you whatever rank you want, but in a week or two, I will make you prove your worth for that rank." He spoke quietly, wanting to get this over quickly so he may test out the fae a bit more. His tail flicked and he shifted, broad shoulders shaking in the spring breeze. He grew silent, not even moving an inch as he awaited her reply. She would be his first member of the pack, and he wanted proof that she could be trusted to help care and nurture the pack with love and kindness. Of course every good pack needed someone stern and mother-like, and perhaps Banshee would be that figure. He, himself, rather hoped that she would be exactly like that. Someone to help enforce the rules, enforce their way of living but do it kindly.
