A New Beginning [Border Post (Open)]

A lithe lioness padded across the plains towards the borders where she saw grass and prey all around. Her paws ached each step she took as she walked the distance. She found the prey quite tempting to catch, but that wasn't her plan. Natiri was out to look for a pride to join. Spending years alone wasn't exactly the best place to be in as a social animal. Plus, hunting in another pride's territory wasn't the best choice. After all, that choice may end up to be an unpleasant surprise. The lioness wasn't in much of a mood to battle either. It didn't make any sense what so ever.

Natiri's paws had enough. One last step was all it took for her and lie down. Walking non-stop was sure something that could turn painful. Her pads were dry and cracked as if she'd not been drinking water for days. The warm wind blew on her fur as she just stayed there on the turf waiting for someone to appear. Who cares if a massive lion or lioness came? Joining in a pride was all she cared about right now. A loud roar escaped her mouth as she alerts someone of her presence.
